I knew it wouldn’t take long for chronological order to go out the window! I’m skipping to Fantasia this week, so from here on out, film weeks will be in a random order.
I think Fantasia is totally underrated; its a classic, but most people overlook it, forgetting that it brings one of the best and most well known scenes of any Disney film: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Sorcerer Mickey holds a special place in my heart; I can’t really explain it, I just think its one of Mickey’s best roles and let’s face it, the outfit is so cute!
On my Disney World trip, I knew I wanted to buy Mickey ears, but despite the huge collection, nothing really captured me until I came across these beauties in Hollywood Studios:
So I took inspiration from my favourite mouse, and put together a little salute to his classic look! (excuse my camera face, I can’t take a photo on my beast of a camera without pulling it!)
I found this wrap-front red dress in the Asos sale (£10 bargain!), and made myself a belt using a gold dressing gown tie that I found in my local fabric shop, although you could easily use any rope or cord you fancy.
Topped off with my ears, it makes the perfect Disneybounding outfit, or a subtle fancy dress costume!
