Lottie and Matthew Do Disney: Day 6

I’m not gonna lie to you, today was another easy day in Orlando.

We got the bus to Magic Kingdom, then hopped on the monorail to Contemporary for our breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey’s. Helping out in the restaurant along with Mickey was Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald, and we filled out boots with all-you-can-eat goodness.

After breakfast, we were picked up from outside the Contemporary by the Disney Vacation Club, as we had booked an open house tour while in Epcot a few days back. The open house meant we got to see the showrooms for the new Copper Creek area of Wilderness Lodge, which were incredible, and also Polynesian and Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. If you’ve never done a DVC meeting and you have the time, I’d definitely recommend it – in fact, we liked it so much we’re going back on Tuesday..

DVC were nice enough to drop us into Disney Springs and from there we got a Lyft to the Orlando Premium Outlets, although I didn’t buy anything more exciting than some new running shoes!

Shopped out, we went back to the hotel to drop off our things, then got the bus to Disney Springs for the evening and as we walked into the West Side there was a gathering around two guys who were having a rap battle which was amazing to watch! We also hit a few of the shops, including the new Coca Cola building, before making our way to T-Rex for dinner, and after walking it off a little by wandering more around the Springs, we headed back to the hotel for a good nights sleep!
