Friday Favourite Five – Scented Candle Brands

In classic blogger style, I’ve been obsessed with scented candles since I bought my first Vanilla Buttercream Yankee way back whenever.

Since that day, my poor bank account has had to suffer my need to fill my bedroom with amazing smells, and in classic Friday fashion, I’m gonna share my favourite candle brands today!

1. Yankee Candle

Yankee Candle is the probably the most well-known candle brand in the UK and US, and with the enormous range of scents available, its no wonder why!

2. Maple and Whisky

SONY DSC

Maple and Whisky are a UK based company that handmade the most delicious Disney inspired soy candles and wax melts – I’m obsessed and not even sorry..

3. Lily Flame

These adorable tin candles come in an incredible range of smells, I can’t wait to try more!

4. Jelly Belly

Jelly Belly is such a fun brand, and my blueberry candle smells good enough to eat!

5. Ikea

Curveball, but I almost never resist buying new candles when I go to Ikea because they’re such good value for money! They might not be as pretty and well packaged as ‘branded’ candles, but when you’re paying a fraction of the price, who really cares, right?

Friday Favourite Five: Scents of Christmas

With the turn of December, Fridays are turning festive!

Christmas is always a treat for all the senses, so this week I’m sharing my favourite smells associated with this magical time of year!

1. Snow Fairy shower gel

This is my absolute FAVOURITE seasonal product ever! This glittery beauty smells like unicorns, rainbows and candyfloss and I love it.

2. Gingerbread baking

SONY DSC

Whether its cookies or a house, that glorious scent wafting from the oven marks the start of festive cheer!

3. Salted Caramel Yankee Candles

I know there’s nothing specifically Christmassy about salted caramel, but these Yankees have such a warm decadent smell that I always save them for winter nights.

4. Roast dinners

A good roast has many different components, but when all those smells mix together it creates a symphony of smells that is Christmas dinner heaven!

5. Fort Wilderness candle from Maple and Whisky

This pine-y scented candle reminds me of Christmas trees and festive cheer!

What smells do you associate with Christmas?
