Friday Favourite Five – Disney Dads

I know last week I announced that I was cutting back on this series, but this is a good one!

With Father’s Day just two days away, I’ve put myself to the difficult task of choosing Disney favourites – a task I never enjoy – to share some of the amazing dads that grace our screens.

1. Marlin

Battled sharks, met a sea turtle, took on the jellies, crossed an ocean.. Not bad, Marlin, not bad..

2. Mr Incredible

As well as being quite literally a superdad, Mr Incredible did whatever it took for his family, even if it meant years working in a cubicle so they could have a normal life.

3. Mufasa

Who doesn’t cry when Mufasa dies?! I know its not that scene that makes him a great dad, but still.

4. Maurice

While he doesn’t seem overly heroic or brave, Maurice never let the doubts and jokes of the villagers get to him, and raised Belle to be just as free-thinking and strong minded

5. James

We see Tiana’s dad for such a short time in the film, but his legacy is clear throughout.

And while we’re here, my dad is pretty cool too:

Friday Favourite Five – Mickey Ear Makers!

For me, nothing pulls together a Disney trip outfit more than the perfect pair of Mickey ears, and I’m a real sucker for a beautiful pair of handmade ones!

Today, I’m going to share five of my favourite creative beauties who make beautiful ears, some of which I already own and some of which I’m desperate for!

1. Le Ears

I first posted about Le Ears way back last year, and from that post blossomed a friendship with the lovely Nancy, who not only sent me a pair of her ears as a thank you for the feature, but also has been so kind to me and I was lucky enough to meet her back in January! She makes the most amazing range of custom ears!

2. Elephant and Mouse

Another ear pixie I’ve been so lucky to meet is Maggie! I bought a pair of her first ever ears, and have been obsessed ever since; she always has the cutest fabrics! We stayed in the same resort on my January WDW trip and I can honestly say she is just as lovely as her ears!

3. Queen Ursula UK

The most beautiful sparkly and sought after ears in all the realm! I’ve been waiting until I had a perfect design to make an order, and custom slots sell out quickly, but I’m poised and ready for the next shop opening and hoping I can snag a spot!

4. World of Wishes

My beautiful Disney friend Amy has just started making these beautiful wire ears, and I think they’re so pretty!

5. House of Mouse

I love how bright and coloured all of the ears from House of Mouse are, I just wish shipping to the UK wasn’t as expensive as the ears, waa!

Friday Favourite Five – Recipe Books

I’m that person that lives in fear of the physical book industry dying out. I used my sister’s Kindle once and I wasn’t happy about it.

But I’m not just sad about the potential demise of my favourite fiction; I have a deep love for cookbooks, and while I do spend hours pinning recipes on Pinterest, there’s nothing like having to balance a book in the kitchen while you’re peeling and chopping and all sorts! Here are (just a few of) my favourites at the moment:

SONY DSC

Save with Jamie

Who doesn’t love a bit of Jamie Oliver though? This book is a godsend for making the most out of food you already have! Each section starts with a big ‘mother recipe’, if you will, and then all the following recipes show what you can do with the leftovers of said meal.

SONY DSC

Yo Sushi: The Japanese Cookbook

That’s right, all your favourite dishes from Yo in one book, eek! I was so excited when I saw this book, Yo Sushi boasts some of my favourite dishes – I’m looking at you, pumpkin korroke! It’s got everything from hand rolls to rice dishes to meat and seafood!

SONY DSC

Reader’s Digest 30-minute cookbook

Sometimes the glamorous, shiny covered, celebrity chef recipe books that you need. Sometimes you just need a book that’s full of quick, easy and hearty recipes, and lots of them! This book is packed with family favourites, healthy options and good old classics, and I’ve got quite a few post-its stuck around it.

SONY DSC

Marshmallow Madness

You can tell from the slight sticky stain on the spine of this book that its seen a fair amount of action! I love making marshmallows, and while I knew how to do it before I got this book, there are so many fun and fresh variations in here, and the cover is squishy too!

SONY DSC

Duff Bakes

Ok, so I’m yet to try any recipes from this book just yet, but from reading it I can already tell I’m going to love it. Duff has been an inspiration since I watched my first ever episode of Ace of Cakes, and I was so excited when I saw this book was coming out that it went straight on my Christmas list! Its full of everything from bread to blondies and it all looks so delicious!

Friday Favourite Five – Fitness Brands

Today is such an exciting day for me. If you follow me on social media, you’ll have seen me harping on about The Happiest Fitness Co, which is my new fitness brand, and today is the official launch day, yay! I’ll tell you all more about it tomorrow, promise!

So keeping on theme, today I’m sharing my top five fitness brands!

1. Fabletics

I love cute workout clothes and Kate Hudson is a huge idol of mine so of course I’m in love with Fabletics, and I really struggle to press that ‘skip this month’ button sometimes, to the pain of my bank account..

2. Sweaty Betty

Some of the most beautiful prints and gear ever, and such a wonderful workout ethic behind the brand!

3. Blogilates

Originating on the YouTube scene, Cassey Ho and her Blogilates brand are one of my latest obsessions. As well as fun workout videos, there’s pretty workout clothes and accessories, yay!

4. Tone It Up

Another, more recently discovered by me, YouTube fitness sensation, Tone It Up also has some incredible workout videos, and more amazing gear, apparel and also nutrition!

5. Asics

As a runner, finding the right shoe is a pretty big deal, and after retiring my Nikes, my new GT-1000s are it for me. The staff at Asics stores always take the time to make sure everyone has the right shoes for their feet and running style, and that’s super important in my eyes.

Friday Favourite Five – April Fool’s Pranks

I wish I was funny enough to pull off an awesome April Fool’s day trick, but a) I struggle with not giggling and b) I’m usually the one falling for them. Waa.

But every year we all fall for some huge joke from our favourite big brands, and so I’m gonna share my top 5 from previous years!

1. Pizza Hut’s ‘Just Crust’ pizza

I think we all kinda wished this happened for real, but as the name suggests, Pizza Hut announced they would be releasing a pizza with no sauce, toppings, or even a centre. Yep, just crust..

2. Macmillan Green River Thames

To raise awareness for the cancer support charity, photos were released of the River Thames in a fairly lurid shade of green, and to be honest, I believed it for just a second.

3. Google Rickrolling us all back in 2008

That time every Youtube video linked up to the music video for ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley and we all hated it. Just think, if they’d done that this/last year, vloggers everywhere would be loosing their minds..

4. Burger King perfume

The Japanese can be nutty at times, but I don’t think anyone would be mad enough to fall for a flame-grilled fragrance?

5. ASOS clip on man-bun

I don’t think this needs words..

Have you been pranked today?

Friday Favourite Five – Disney Mums

If you didn’t already realise, you better get yourself down to the florist/Lush/Thorntons today because its Mothers Day this Sunday!

Behind every strong person is an awesome mum, and the same is true for all of our favourite Disney characters, so today, in honour of awesome mums everywhere, here are my favourite Disney mums!

1. Mary Darling

A mother who encourages her kids to stay young at heart is great in my books!

2. Duchess

Managing three kittens with elegance while also finding your way back home, we salute you, Duchess!

3. Queen Elinor

With a lot of Disney princesses growing up without a mother, Elinor stands out for coping so well with being a queen and a mother, oh, and a bear at times.

4. Perdita

101 Dalmatians was one of my favourite Disney films as a child, and Perdy and Pongo make such a fab parenting team.

5. Elastigirl/Mrs Incredible

Lets just say its a good job she’s elastic, cos she holds together a pretty super family!

But my favourite Disney mum of all time? Mine. (I’m cute right?)

Friday Favourite Five: Artists of Etsy

The discovery of Etsy was both the best and worst thing to happen to me in terms of online shopping; it opened up an incredible world of handmade and vintage items from all over the world, making me a very happy girl, but my bank balance a little sad!

I love that you can buy almost anything, from food products to home furnishings, but today I’m focusing on artwork, and sharing my favourite five artists and graphic designers!

1. Teacup Pirahna

I’m obsessed with these vintage travel poster prints inspired by Star Wars, Disney and Game of Thrones, and quite frankly all the art on the shop is amazing!

2. CoconuTacha

Natacha’s artwork is beyond impressive, and she’s such a lovely seller too! I have 6 of her skyline prints, and I’m in awe of them!

3. Kayley Draws

I discovered Kayley through Instagram, and fell in love with her castle print tote, which I bought for my Disneyland Paris trip, becoming a member of her Forever Princess Club!

4. Underland2Wonderland

Danielle’s shop is filled with Disney inspired prints and photography, but my particular favourite is this Lord of the Rings piece!

5. Vivid Editions

Looking for watercolour prints? Look no further! This store is packed with amazing Disney watercolour artwork as well as vintage style park posters, and the best part is they’re normally on 3 for 2!

Who’s your favourite?

Friday Favourite Five – Winter Hats

Another Friday has rolled around, although after a week of being back at work properly its felt like forever since last Friday..

I’m really not enjoying this cold weather. I think because October-December was so mild, I didn’t get used to the cold before going away, and now I’ve been thrown into it since getting home, I’ve had no time to adjust or grow my winter wardrobe.

What I do love about this time of year though is winter hats. I like all sorts of hats really, but winter is the only time I really make the effort to wear them, probably because its more of a necessity than anything else! And thus..

1. The good ol’ fashioned beanie, but yellow, cos y’know..

SONY DSC

2. BAYMAX BEANIE

SONY DSC

3. This cutesy little Children In Need Pudsey hat

SONY DSC

4. Mickey Mouse pom-poms!

SONY DSC

5. In case a beanie is a little understated and I need full blown Minnie Mouse style..

SONY DSC

Are you a hat person?

Friday Favourite Five – RunDisney Moments

Nothing brings me back to normality more than a regular blogging series, and 2016 welcomes the return of FFF!

If you’re a new reader, every Friday I choose five of my favourite things of a certain topic, simple! Oh, and welcome!

I’m still reeling from my Disney trip, and with four RunDisney races under my belt, I’m choosing my favourite moments from those experiences!

SONY DSC

1. The first time we entered Epcot on our first race

All of the races start outside of the parks, so that first step from backstage into the actual parks is pretty special. On our first race, the 5k, we race into Mexico on the World Showcase and the lake was lit all around with torches and all the countries were lit and it was just kinda surreal!

2. Running down Main Street USA

During the WDW half marathon, we got to run down the middle of Main Street, with crowds cheering us on as we headed towards the castle.

3. This selfie

If you read my post on the WDW half, you’ll know I really struggled with a chest infection the whole way round, so seeing this little guy and getting a hug and a selfie at the 7 mile mark was really helpful!

4. The Star Wars 10K

This was actually our favourite race; lame as it sounds, it was just all really good! We ran a good pace, it was a good course, we got to see a load of the parks, BB-8 was there..

5. The three medal finish line

Finishing the Star Wars half marathon sealed our completion of not only that race, but also Rebel Challenge AND Coast to Coast, meaning we received all 3 medals then and there. It was everything we had worked for and it was 100% worth it.

Have you ever run a Disney race? Would you?

Friday Favourite Five: Christmas Films

This is the last FFF of 2015! This series still feels new to me, so its so crazy to think I’ve been running it since the start of August, and can’t wait to keep it up going into the next blogging year!

I know we’ve probably all been watching them for the last month already, but I’m finishing up my Christmas FFs with my favourite Christmas movies! You might hate me for saying this, but as much as I love Christmas, I’m really not a huge fan of traditional Christmas films, so while they may not be everyone’s top picks, here are mine:

1. Mickey’s A Christmas Carol

Ok yes, this is a traditional Christmas film, but I just love it! Its a story that’s been told so many times in so many ways, but this version will always be the best in my eyes!

2. Love Actually

I’m a huge cliche, I know, but come on, I don’t think I need to explain this one.

3. The Holiday

Cheesy chick flick, Christmas setting and a sweet little old guy for good luck, and all wrapped up in time for New Years!

4. Bridget Jones’s Diary

Another total girly film, but it involves Christmas jumpers, snow and parties, so it counts for me! (Also, its basically Pride and Prejudice, so bonus points)

5. Elf

I’m about to admit something that many people will be offended by: until last year, I had never seen Elf *ducks for cover*. I don’t think its worth all the hype, but as I don’t watch that many Christmas films, its made the list!

What are your favourite Christmas movies?

xoxo

Friday Favourite Five: Tastes of Christmas

Aside from the joy of giving and all that jazz, Christmas is about stuffing yourself with food until you feel like you’re going to burst, then falling asleep, waking up the next morning and doing it all over again!

With that in mind, here are the foods that always bring me back to festive memories:

1. Orange and Lemon Slices

Yep, those little jelly sweets that you can probably get all year round, but in our house they’re Christmas tradition – as is fighting over the middle bit!

2. Costa hot chocolate

Yes, I’m gutted that the seasonal flavours aren’t as good this year, but a plain old Costa hot chocolate is still a perfect treat on cold days out Christmas shopping.

3. After Eights

I’m not a dark chocolate person in the slightest, but can anyone ever resist an After Eight at this time of year? PS they normally taste better before 8pm.

4. Peppermint everything

Whether its my peppermint Eos balm, or sucking on a candy cane, peppermint is a Christmas staple!

5. Buck’s Fizz!

Now I’m really not big on champagne, or orange juice really for that matter, but you can’t start a Christmas party, or Christmas morning, without a glass of this bubbly stuff!

What are your favourite Christmas treats?

xoxo

Friday Favourite Five: Scents of Christmas

With the turn of December, Fridays are turning festive!

Christmas is always a treat for all the senses, so this week I’m sharing my favourite smells associated with this magical time of year!

1. Snow Fairy shower gel

This is my absolute FAVOURITE seasonal product ever! This glittery beauty smells like unicorns, rainbows and candyfloss and I love it.

2. Gingerbread baking

SONY DSC

Whether its cookies or a house, that glorious scent wafting from the oven marks the start of festive cheer!

3. Salted Caramel Yankee Candles

I know there’s nothing specifically Christmassy about salted caramel, but these Yankees have such a warm decadent smell that I always save them for winter nights.

4. Roast dinners

A good roast has many different components, but when all those smells mix together it creates a symphony of smells that is Christmas dinner heaven!

5. Fort Wilderness candle from Maple and Whisky

This pine-y scented candle reminds me of Christmas trees and festive cheer!

What smells do you associate with Christmas?

xoxo

Friday Favourite Five – Everyday Products

Well happy Friday everyone, we’ve made it through another week!

This week’s fave five focuses on those beauty products that you love so much that they’ve snuck into your everyday skincare routine without you even noticing – you know the ones, right?

Well here are mine:

1. Eos Smooth Sphere lip balms

SONY DSC

I actually own 7 of these, not even ashamed! I love the design, the flavours and that they’re 99% natural; I have one in my car, one at work, in my handbag etc, and my favourite is Blueberry Acai!

2. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter

SONY DSC

This stuff smells incredible, and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth!

3. Vaseline Intensive Care hand cream

I actually stumbled across this sort of by accident one day when I needed a moisturiser for a burn that was scabbing, but now I’ve tried it I’m obsessed. It leaves my hands feeling really silky and moisturised, and also helps strengthen my nails, plus it doesn’t leave that sticky after-feeling

4. Nivea Daily Essentials Day Cream

SONY DSC

I’m quite lucky really, and don’t really suffer too much from dry skin, but I do tend to get it on my forehead, so just a light layer of this on my face each morning keeps me happy!

5. Dove Go Fresh Nourising Body Wash

SONY DSC

It might just be a shower gel, but the way it lathers up into a thick foam and actually leaves my skin feeling softer with every wash.

What are your daily go-to products?

xoxo

Friday Favourite Five – Lipsticks

I have two weaknesses when it comes to makeup: nail varnish and lipstick, and today’s post is about the latter.

As a full-time wearer of glasses, there’s not a whole lot I can do with eye makeup (well, I can, but what’s the point when you can’t see behind my frames), so for me, lipstick is how I express myself. My collection spans from Boots Natural Collection to MAC, and I’m a real stickler for my favourite brands and shades, but here are just five of my favourites:

1. Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Standout

SONY DSC

I love matte lipsticks, and this Revlon collection boasts both great shades and a reasonable price; I have 5 out of 8 of them. It’s a deeper red, which is great for autumn looks or nights out, or for when you’re not in the mood for a brighter shade.

2. Barry M Green Goes Pink

SONY DSC

The only lipstick that you shouldn’t judge by its appearance, this clever little stick transforms to a different shade depending on the pH of your lips! For me, that’s normally a deep pink shade which suits me pretty well, and is also really long lasting, so I know if I’m wearing it on a night out I’m not gonna have to keep re-applying it after every drink.

3. Maybelline ColorSensational in Electric Orange

SONY DSC

My colouring actually lends itself to orange shades more than pinks, so I love this for when I want to be a bit more casual. Despite the name and appearance, it doesn’t go on very bright as its fairly sheer so looks fairly effortless, which is totally my style!

4. Beautifully Disney in Rosebud

SONY DSC

I’ve reviewed my Beautifully Disney collection before, but this little lipstick has earnt its place in this list too! As its only a touch darker than my natural lip colour, it gives a little more colour on days where I don’t feel like anything bolder, plus I love how mini it is!

5. MAC Wash And Dry in Steam Heat

SONY DSC

I will admit that the beautiful packaging of this swayed the vote slightly, but I do love MAC lipsticks! This is a classic red in a satin finish, there’s really nothing that can go wrong!

What are your favourite lipstick shades?

xoxo

Friday Favourite Five – Disney Bromances

Who doesn’t love a bromance, right?

I might actually go as far as saying that the love between guy-besties is often far greater than actual couples, and its no different for Disney characters! Almost every film has an awesome pairing, and I found it really difficult to choose just five for today, but here they are:

1. Timon and Pumbaa

The Lion King holds a special place in my heart as it came out in the year I was born, but I don’t think I’m bias when I say that these guys are the coolest. I mean, come on, hakuna matata!

2. Lightning McQueen and Mater

When cars have feelings too, the ability for bromances is also present, and who can resist Mater’s goofy charm?!

3. Hiro and Baymax

If you’ve seen the film, you’ve felt the feels! I am satisfied with this bromance.

4. Mike and Sully

You know what they say, the friends you meet at university will stay with you forever, even if you did start out as enemies!

5. Woody and Buzz

Friends who play together, stay together! These guys have had our hearts since 1996!

Fist bumps and high fives all round!

°o°

Friday Favourite Five – Redbubble Buys

Discovering Redbubble was possibly the best and worst thing that ever happened to me – I’m obsessed, and I really have to control myself otherwise I’d be so broke!

Firstly, I love the concept of Redbubble; giving artists a chance to get their work out there, without worrying about the inconvenience and costs of printing and shipping, but also giving shoppers great, unique products at a reasonable price, as well as letting us express our craziest fandoms!

The Redbubble range of products has also expanded fantastically from t-shirts to prints, bags, skirts, scarves, laptop sleeves, phone cases, I could go on.. But here are 5 of my favourite purchases! (Please excuse any creases)

1. Gaston’s Gym t-shirt

SONY DSC

I bought this with the sole purpose of looking cool while working out, its my favourite top to wear to the gym, and I get loads of compliments! The design is here.

2. Floating Lanterns scarf

SONY DSC

When Redbubble announced they were introducing scarves, I had to have one, and this is one from my favourite Redbubble artist. It’s super high quality, super floaty and its large size makes it super versatile! The design is here.

3. Dapper Dans pencil skirt

SONY DSC

Another of Redbubble’s newer product lines, this pencil skirt is adorable and I couldn’t resist it! The design is here.

4. I’m the Lost Princess tank top

SONY DSC

Another workout top, this tank embraces my love of Tangled with my love of running! The design is here.

5. Hairy Baby Day Car Centre t-shirt

SONY DSC

Ok, so this was my bad for choosing a white t-shirt because you can’t really see the text that reads ‘Hairy Baby Day Care Centre’, but its there, promise! I am satisfied with my top, Baymax. The design is here.

Are you guys Redbubble shoppers too?

°o°

Friday Favourite Five – My Europe Highlights

Aaannd I’m back to regular scheduling!

I would say you’ve heard the end of my European adventures, but I’m afraid that’s just not true because I’ve got a few more related posts up my sleeve, and as its Friday.. Wanna hear my favourite moments of my trip? (I am, of course, leaving Disneyland Paris out of this)

1. Mont St Michel

SONY DSC

This was always going to be a big part of my trip; its no secret how much I love Tangled, and being on the real site that inspired the most beautiful fairytale kingdom was really magical for me.

2. Neuschwanstein Castle

SONY DSC

Another from the bucket list, I truly fell in love with this castle, and seeing it in all its beauty truly made a difficult day a lot easier. I’d love to go back and see the inside!

3. Geneva

SONY DSC

I really wasn’t expecting to be blown away by a city rather than a landmark on this trip, but I had an amazing day in Geneva, and while I don’t think my heart could cope with driving the city again, I’d 100% return for a city break.

4. Chateau de Chillon

SONY DSC

This beauty was another place that I was looking forward to on this trip, but as well as living up to expectations, I was really impressed with it as a tourist destination; the access and information provided made it well worth the trip.

5. Amicitia

SONY DSC

I know it seems silly to choose a hotel as a highlight, but staying on a real canal boat in Amsterdam was great. I loved curling up in the cosy common area, and despite the small cabin, it was a real experience!

Friday Favourite Five – Crazy Tokyo Disney Food

Yes, I’m still reeling about my Tokyo Disney trip even though it was months ago..

Something I was really excited for when preparing for our visit was the food, photos of which I’d seen all over Pinterest and Instagram, and I couldn’t wait to try some of the delicacies in store for us during our stay. Truly, we couldn’t fault any of the food during our entire visit; it was pretty, delicious and reasonably priced – happy family!

A few, though, really stood out as memorable, and here’s my top five:

1. Mickey Burger

2. Little Green Men Mochi

SONY DSC

3. Clam Burger

DSC08532

4. Mickey Churros

SONY DSC

5. Queen of Hearts Roll Cake

SONY DSC

Don’t you just love it?! I do!

Friday Favourite Five – Instagrammers of Disney World

I spend WAY too much time on Instagram, and at least 90% of the time I’m looking at Disney stuff, with some of my all time favourite accounts being those of Disney World goers, whether they’re Cast Members, Annual Passholders or just regular visitors, these are my top five Instagrammers of WDW:

1. @ferdalump

Finger also has a brother named 'Brother' ✨I love playing with my doctor kit and love to play 'check-up' ✨I have a lot of boyfriends, but Anakin Skywalker is my favorite.✨I love mini M & M's but I will not eat red ones. ✨I'm named after Lois Lane (but Mommy and Daddy also loved the characters named Lane on both Gilmore Girls and Mad Men.) ✨I love music and watching music videos ✨I love painting (on paper, my nails, anything!) ✨I have a fish named Beast and a dog named Tater✨ I'm very detail oriented and if a costume is missing a detail (a hat, gloves, etc) I let Mommy know about it. Princess Lane has very quickly become a Disney World superstar; the whole internet follows and loves her, and I’m definitely no exception! In fact, meeting her is on my Disney Bucket List.

Probably the most talented photographer ever, I fell in love with this account after stumbling across her Festival of Fantasy shots, and I’m continually amazed by every new photo!

Friday Favourite Five – WDW Table Service Restaurants

It always amazes me how unique every dining experience at Disney World is. Sure, you sometimes might find yourself eating similar meals in a few, but every table in every restaurant gives you a totally different memory!

On our last trip, we tried to fit in as many table service meals as our dining plan would allow, and we had some incredible meals, but for now, here’s my favourite five:

1. T-REX

432 - Click to view full size photo

If you’ve never been, imagine Rainforest Cafe, but instead of wildlife, its dinosaurs that run the show! Yep, dinner, dinos and delicious food; we had an awesome time here.

2. Tusker House

SONY DSC

Probably one of the best meals from our last trip! We made this booking following a recommendation from friends, but had no idea what to expect, so when we walked into a restaurant with incredible decor, a vast range of amazing food and character visits, we were blown away.

3. Crystal Palace

SONY DSC

You cannot go wrong with Crystal Palace. Magic Kingdom, check! Pooh and friends, check! Buffet including Mickey waffles, check!

4. Sci-fi Dine In Theater

SONY DSC

It probably doesn’t get more unique than eating dinner in a classic car and watching old movies on the big screen!

5. Chef Mickey’s

SONY DSC

A Disney World classic, and a great excuse to ride the monorail across from the Magic Kingdom. Fill your plate with grub, and get your napkins ready..

What are your favourite table service restaurants?

Friday Favourite Five – Subscription Packages

Another Friday, and who doesn’t love a good subscription?!

You can subscribe to anything from magazines to movies to speedy delivery these days, and here are my top five:

1. Asos Premier

I umm-ed and ahh-ed over becoming an Asos Premier member for a few days before taking the plunge, trying to decide if it was worth the £9.95 for a year. Long story short, I have no regrets! Premier members get free Next Day or Selected Day delivery, normally £4.95, as well as exclusive and early access to sales, and free collection for returns. My wardrobe is almost entirely comprised of Asos clothes, so for me, this was totally worth the money!

2. Fabletics VIP

If you haven’t read other posts where I talk about my love of Fabletics, here it is again! At the start of each month, I get personalised outfit choices sent to me, and I can choose from the huge range, or skip the month if nothing grabs me. Spoiler, something pretty much always grabs me. Purchases also gain you points, points mean free outfits, and I recently got my first free outfit from my points balance! VIP members get outfits (and individual items) at a reduced price, and free delivery on all outfits. Oh, did I mention the clothes are amazing?!

3. Amazon Prime

Just get it, like now. I can’t live without Prime. Free next day delivery on eligible items, Prime Instant Video, Prime Music, exclusive sales.. Your favourite online retailer just got even better. What you want, when you want it, and then some. Boom.

4. Netflix

I have the Netflix account, and the whole family uses it. I can watch it on my tv, my laptop, my ipad, and so can everyone else; setting up individual profiles within my account means the girls have unlimited access to kids programming, while Dad and I share a ‘grown-up’ profile that’s separate from my aunt and uncle’s. For £5.99 a month, seven of us have access to the huge selection of movies, documentaries and tv shows Netflix has to offer, and sometimes I lose entire days to catching up!

5. Graze

While I don’t currently have a subscription, I really like Graze boxes, and I think its a great idea; healthy snacks dropped right at your door or office, from nut mixes and popcorn to flapjacks and brownies, yum!

Friday Favourite Five – Rides at Tokyo Disney

I can’t believe its been over a month since I was in Tokyo Disneyland already! This year is flying by, but I can’t complain because every day that goes by, I’m a day closer to my next Disney trip, so I can’t lose!

Today’s FFF are the rides I loved most during my time in Tokyo, so here they are!

1. Splash Mountain

SONY DSC

Yes, Splash Mountain is in every Disney park, I know, I know! BUT there was something about this one, I can’t really put my finger on what exactly, but it just seemed better than all the others! I love it, and I rode it more than all the other rides, k.

2. Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek!

SONY DSC

While its not as exciting as Buzz’s Astro Blasters, and there’s no scoring involved (which bothered my super competitive mum!), this was really fun, and the setting was perfect!

3. Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull

SONY DSC

Another ‘non-unique’ ride, but again, this ride blew me away! We had a Fastpass so we got to skip the enormous queue (always makes rides better), but it would’ve been worth the wait!

4. Journey to the Center of the Earth

SONY DSC

The ride inside the volcano! Totally different from anything at any other Disney park, and the perfect combination of gentle ride and rollercoaster!

5. Caravan Carousel

SONY DSC

A double decker carousel of fun! Ride an elephant, a camel, or even Genie himself!
